Bacon is a kind of pork, usually fried in long, narrow, thin slices.  It is usually served as part of breakfast or on some sandwiches at lunch.  If bacon is fried for a longer time, it can be broken into smaller pieces.  It is ‘crisp’.   If you like bacon cooked that way; in an American restaurant you can tell them ‘I want my bacon crisp’.
